And the Winner Is ...
Plus, a St. Patrick's Day special
“Find the good and praise it.”
Hello again! Happy March!
I’m excited to announce that the winner of last month’s Valentine’s Day giveaway is … Emily Gordon! (And the correct answer to the Valentine’s Day trivia question was: The Opryland Hotel. See more about that below.)
Emily will receive an autographed copy of my novel, The View from the Cliffs!
You can see the drawing (and how my Golden Retriever, Ike, chose the winner) here:
If you’d like your own autographed copy of The View from the Cliffs, you can now purchase one through my online bookstore, LastSkyWriting.com! (Plus, it’s now on sale at nearly 20% off!!)
You can also enter the next giveaway for a chance to win—see below to enter the special St. Patrick’s Day giveaway! Those who entered the Valentine’s Day giveaway will also automatically be entered into the St. Patrick’s Day drawing (with the exception of Emily, who is already a winner)!
You’ll also find a subscribers-only discount code below, in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. ☺️
Thank you again for being a member of the Positive Vibes community!
Cheers,
Yasmine

What I’m Feeling Good About
I visited the Opryland Hotel recently—the correct answer to last month’s trivia question about which Nashville location in The View from the Cliffs still exists. Here is a photo from the hotel’s Cascades section (my favorite section, and it was one of the first parts of the hotel to exist when it was built decades ago):
Yes, the waterfalls are actually inside the hotel!
There are a couple of references to the Opryland Hotel in The View from the Cliffs, and one Christmas scene takes place there.
Speaking of that book, as promised, I’m doing another special giveaway to commemorate St. Patrick’s Day, given that Ireland and Irish history plays such an important role in The View from the Cliffs.
As mentioned above, those who entered the Valentine’s Day giveaway (with the exception of the winner) will automatically be entered into the St. Patrick’s Day giveaway, PLUS those entrants can get an additional entry by answering the question below correctly.
There will be 3 prizes for this one! Grand prize is an autographed copy of The View from the Cliffs, a box of Barry’s Tea (if you’ve read the novel, you know why this is significant), and a Positive Vibes mug!

Second prize is an autographed copy of one of my books, either The View from the Cliffs or Walk through Fire: The Train Disaster that Changed America, your choice.
Third prize is the e-book version of The View from the Cliffs.
To enter, please reply to this email with your answer to the following question by March 17. All those who answer this book-related trivia question correctly will be entered into the drawing. The winner (and the correct answer) will be announced in the April Positive Vibes newsletter. No purchase necessary to win. US residents only, due to shipping regulations.
P.S. The e-book version of The View from the Cliffs is also now available!
What You’re Feeling Good About
I’m always delighted to hear from Positive Vibes readers, and recently, I got some correspondence from a new Positive Vibes member, Larry, who had read Walk through Fire: The Train Disaster that Changed America and wanted to share his experience as a long-time train watcher and enthusiast. He was kind enough to send this photo:

Larry Z., Chief Pilot, Hartzell Propeller retired
I also heard from the lovely Maura Tynan (whom you’ll find noted on the first page of the Acknowledgments section of The View from the Cliffs, and who gave us this wonderful Irish brown bread recipe that I shared with you last year) … given that my novel features some of the Irish language, she sent this along for Valentine’s Day:
(This section is where I’ll be featuring good news, tips, and bits of wisdom from readers—so please reply to this email and share some with me! It can be anything, big or small. Whatever you’re feeling good about.)
