Audiobook Coming Soon!!

Lots of book news this month!

Hello Again, Everyone!

There has been so much going on during the past month, since the release of the book! (Read to the end of this introduction for info on the audiobook!)

Thank you so much to all who attended the book signings at Parnassus, in Waverly, and in Dickson! Pics from those events are below.

We had over 100 attendees at the Parnassus event, and at least 200 in Waverly! Over 50 more in Dickson. All told, I have signed close to 1,000 books so far. I can’t tell you how amazed—and grateful—I am at the tremendous outpouring of support for this book! A thousand thank-you’s to all of you!!

One of the most incredible things about all of this was having so many of the survivors and the people whose stories are in the book actually present at these events—truly living history! That has made these book events so special not only to me, but to the audience as well. After all, how often do you actually get to meet the “characters” in a book??

I’ve also had the opportunity to appear on live television to talk about the book and the Waverly Train Disaster of 1978; I’m including links to those shows in this newsletter too.

There is also a very special blog post featured in this newsletter, by someone who is in the book itself and is an excellent writer in his own right….

And finally, so many have asked, and I am pleased to be able to tell you: YES, there is an AUDIOBOOK coming soon! Its scheduled release date is March 28, 2023. It will be available wherever audiobooks are sold—Amazon, Apple, Spotify, etc. I’ll send out a reminder and links when it is actually available for purchase. (And yes, I am the narrator!)

So once again, thank you for all your support, and I hope you enjoy this newsletter!

Until next time,

Yasmine

First things first: this blog post by Zach Clayton, who is featured in the book and is an excellent writer, just blew me away. I’m so excited to be able to share it with you here:
