So happy to be able to announce the release of the audiobook version of Walk through Fire, which went on sale today! (Click on the link above to buy through Amazon—this is an affiliate link—and see below for more info on other sellers.)

I’m also pretty excited to have been the narrator for this audiobook—believe it or not, that was not a foregone conclusion. For those who may not be familiar with the publishing industry, if your book is traditionally published, the publisher can sell the rights to the audiobook to a company that specializes in producing audiobooks, and they and the publisher can have the final say on who gets to be the narrator. So I had to convince them by auditioning to read my own book!

I “won” that audition and as a result, got to spend 3 days this past January in a recording studio on Music Row here in Nashville! It was an amazing experience, and I am so grateful to the folks at the Audio Productions, Inc. studio, who were so kind and supportive, and just wonderful throughout the entire recording process!

I must admit, I was super excited to be recording in a studio used by so many Country legends over the years (like Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, Keith Urban, and many more—just check out the photos on API’s website)! On one of the days I was recording, Crook & Chase were recording at the same time, just across the hall! And the following week, Diamond Rio was on the recording schedule! 😀

So here are a couple of links to purchase the audiobook, which should be available for sale wherever you usually buy your audiobooks:

From Amazon (affiliate link): https://amzn.to/40wPCT5

If you use Apple or Spotify for audiobooks, it should be available there too, but I’m afraid I don’t yet have direct links for those. Check the audiobook section of your respective app store.

The audiobook should also be available for checkout through your local library—if it’s not or you can’t find it, be sure to ask your librarian!

Many more details to come, but for now, please save June 15 on your calendar:
